Once again, SCAD is proud to offer you and your family the opportunity to explore beautiful Newport Beach, California, during the upcoming 2019 SCAD conference, September 12-14!  We’ve organized the four activities below to ensure your trip to Southern California is fun, authentic and memorable.  Don’t delay!  Space is limited, so buy your tickets today to ensure your participation.

  • I. Golfing In Paradise

    Breath-taking scenery is par for the course at this world-class Golf Club and Resort.  Majestic California sunsets and stunning ocean views, this is an exceptional, brag-worthy experience you’ll never forget.

    Price:  $425.00 USD per person without Caddy, or $525.00 per person with a Caddy and gratuity included (Round-trip transportation from the hotel provided + Golf Cart + Boxed Lunch)

  • II. Spa Bliss

    Relish this serene experience to connect with mind, body and spirit.  From Swedish to deep tissue and “Spa-Flexology” massages, guests will enjoy exceptional care in their journey towards rejuvenation. At this premiere establishment, the highly trained, professional staff is committed to friendly and superb treatment for all.

  • III. Biking, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking or Relaxing at the Beach

    Electric or traditional biking is the easy, breezy way to explore the many vibrant areas of Newport Beach – the buzzing boardwalk, Balboa Island and casual restaurants and shops.  Pedal or not and get power when you want it. It feels like being a kid again!   Includes bike lock, basket, bell, helmet & bottled water.

    Or, view the harbor’s sandy beaches, marine life and million-dollar yachts and mansions in a Kayak or on a Standup Paddle Board.  The quality equipment ensures your exploration of the 880-acre Newport Harbor is comfortable and enjoyable.  Paddle Baorders and Kayakers must be strong swimmers.

  • IV. Whale & Dolphin Watching Cruise

    The Orange County coastline is Internationally recognized as one of the top whale watching destinations in the world.

    In Newport Beach’s glistening Pacific Ocean, guests are given the rare opportunity to get up close to a variety of whales, dolphins and marine life frolicking and playing in their natural habitat.  It’s an experience you’ll never forget!

    All ages welcome; large boat hosting other participants; ocean water can be choppy.

  • Advance payment required by September 6, 2019 to secure your participation in the SCAD 2019 Conference Activities selected above. All sales are final. No returns or refunds will be offered. Participant substitutions can be made prior to the event at the Event organizers’ discretion. SCAD activities Participants (“Participants”) agree that, to the extent permissible by law, the SCAD Conference organizers (including all officials and conference volunteers), the sponsors and other parties associated with the Conference (“Event”), have no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss sustained by Participants during, or in any way related to, participation in the Event. Participants understand that at the Event they may be photographed and agree to allow their photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the Event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and/or assigns. By submitting payment for these Event activities, Participants agree to these terms and conditions described herein.
